Build a maze of towers in your field (bottom). Send creeps at the enemy (top) to raise your gold per second. Towers and sends share one pot of gold. First to lose 25 lives loses. Creeps enter at the top-left of a field. The exit moves from match to match: bottom-left corner, bottom middle or bottom-right corner, the same for both players, shown when the match starts.
Pick one of your builds below. A build is five tower types (Damage, Range, Splash, Support, Heavy), each in an element you choose; your opponent sees it and you see theirs. Tap a cell in your field and pick a tower from the ring. Tap a creep card to send. Unsent creeps keep collecting on their cards. The strip under a creep card upgrades it. Tap a placed tower to level it up (five levels) or sell it. Elements combine: Stone shatters what Ice has frozen, Fire blasts what Poison has marked, and so on. The build screen lists them.
Merge. You play the five towers of your build (pick it below, or take five random ones), and so does your opponent. Creeps do not leave: they circle the outer ring of a field until killed, and you lose when your ring is full. The number beside the heart is how full it is; a big creep fills it more than a small one. Tap anywhere on your field (not on a tower) to buy one of your five at random; the price is shown beside the clock. It lands on a random free cell, not the one you tapped, and every tower reaches the whole ring. Each draw costs a little more. There is no levelling up: drag a tower onto a matching tower of the same level to merge the two into one stronger tower; let go anywhere else and it goes back. Tap a tower to discard it. Merging has no upper limit.
Co-op. You and a partner (a bot, for now) each build a maze in your own field and share 25 lives. Nobody sends creeps: the game sends waves. Each player has their own waves on their own timer. Your group starts at your exit, walks your maze backwards, crosses the lane and walks your partner's maze to their exit. Your partner's group does the same from their side and ends at your exit. So you take the first bite of one group and must finish off the other. Gold comes from kills, and every kill pays you both half, whoever made it. Every fifth wave has a boss at the head of each group: one big, slower creep with the health of a whole group, which costs 5 lives if it gets out. The card for the wave that is out counts down the creeps still alive. The numbers at the bottom show the wave that is out and the next two. Tap Call early to bring your next group now for bonus gold: the more time left, the bigger the bonus. It only brings your own side's group; your partner has their own timer and calls their own. Pick a build below; towers are placed, levelled and sold as in Maze duel. Your score is the number of waves you hold.
Merge Co-op. You and a partner (a bot, for now) each bring a build of five towers. Nobody sends creeps: the game sends waves out of the hellmouth, each player's to their own ring, on each player's own timer. A creep walks once round a ring, crosses the lane, walks once round the other ring, and so on round the figure 8 until killed, so both of you shoot at the same creeps. You lose together when the two rings are too full; the number beside the heart shows how full, and a big creep fills more than a small one. Gold comes from kills, and every kill pays you both half, whoever made it. Tap anywhere on your field (not on a tower) to draw a random tower onto a random free cell; the price is shown beside the clock; drag a tower onto a matching one to merge. Every fifth wave has a boss at the head of each group: one big, slower creep with the health of a whole group, which fills the rings four times as much. The card for the wave that is out counts down the creeps still alive. Tap Call early to bring your next group now for bonus gold; it only brings your side's, and your partner calls their own. Your score is the number of waves that came before the rings filled.
A build is the five tower types you take into a match, each in an element you choose. Keep up to five builds. Tap one to change it.
The creeps you send in PvP, and the waves you face in Co-op. Looks only.
